Directora Ejectiva de ONU Mujeres envía saludos a Michelle Bachelet por triunfo en segunda vuelta
Phumzile Mlambo envío a través de Twitter sus "sinceras felicitaciones" a su antecesora en el organismo de Naciones Unidas. Entidad destacó a Bachelet como la 17° mujer en estar a la cabeza de un gobierno.
"Mis más sinceras felicitaciones a Michelle Bachelet, primera directora ejecutiva de ONU Mujeres, nueva presidenta electa de Chile". Con estas palabras, la actual directora del organismo internacional, PhumZile Mlambo-Ngcuka envió un saludo a la nueva presidenta electa.

Mlambo, ex vicepresidenta de sudáfrica entre 2005 y 2005, asumió en agosto de 2013 en la dirección de ONU Mujeres, luego que Michelle Bachelet presentara su renuncia para regresar a Chile y asumir una candidatura presidencial.
En tanto, desde la cuenta oficial de ONU Mujeres, el organismo destacó que "no podemos estar más felices de ver a Bachelet como la 17° mujer a la cabeza de un Estado/Gobierno a nivel mundial".
