El artista Christopher Shy o Ronin, su seudónimo artístico, es un reconocido pintor especializado en realizar piezas de ciencia ficción. Trabaja como freelance, pero se ha involucrado con compañías como Marvel, Dark Horse Comics y Lionsgate, donde se desempeña como ilustrador en distintas historietas.

Desde hace algunos años se dedica a hacer sus propias versiones de afiches de películas y series de terror, hechos en pase a pinturas. El resultado es muchas veces más aterrador que los mismos films.
