El CEO de Iberdrola, Mario Ruiz-Tagle, dijo que al observar las similitudes o diferencias entre Chile y España, la primera es que en el país europeo “somos adictos al petróleo y al gas”, lo que al final se traduce en que terminan pagando más cuando hay conflictos geopolíticos.

La operación supone la última gran consolidación en el sector energético. Con Marathon Oil, ConocoPhillips se hace con una empresa con activos adyacentes a sus propiedades en Eagle Ford (Texas), Bakken (Dakota del Norte) y Permian. La operación también refuerza la presencia internacional de ConocoPhillips con los activos offshore de Marathon Oil en Guinea Ecuatorial.

El ministro de Energía, Jorge Bunster, destacó el lanzamiento de la Estrategia Nacional de Energía; la creación de nuevos reglamentos para perfeccionar la normativa del sector, y la aprobación de la
